About
Rev. Dr. Michael Heath is an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, the 75th Pastor of Campbell AME Church in Philadelphia, and a preacher, teacher, author, and chaplain with more than 35 years of ministry experience. Having preached since the age of 19, he is passionate about making God’s Word accessible, practical, and life-changing for people from every background. Shaped by personal experiences with many of life’s challenges, he ministers with compassion, hope, and a deep belief in God’s power to transform lives. Rev. Dr. Heath has preached and taught throughout the United States and internationally, previously served as an adjunct professor at Missio Seminary, and currently serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain Corps. He holds degrees from Grace Christian University, Biblical Theological Seminary, and Missio Seminary. He is married to Rev. Tianda Smart-Heath, and together they are blessed with five adult children.
